Quick report back from Snowman Tri at the weekend. Only myself & Lorrie there, sadly Graeme had to pull out with a back injury. Definitely the hardest of all the Snowdonia series. The usual cold water lake swim of 750 m with the most scenic 42 miles possible around Snowdonia national park. Some interesting hills ! The run was hidious if you are not a fell runner. Really it was a long long walk up Moel Simbod (800 odd feet) & back down / stumble down again. Out of the three in the series i would recommend Sandman as the most pleasant & best for the beginner.
